About Me

I have grown up in the USA, living in Illinois, New Hampshire, and most recently in Burlington, Vermont. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Vermont, and in 2016 I moved to Austria to teach English!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling, but I especially enjoy cultural exchange and meeting people from different backgrounds or experiences. I have enjoyed meeting people who are travelers or couchsurfers.

I've helped to host travelers when I was living at an intentional community, and I loved hearing about the challenges and rewards of alternative travel.

(you can see a blurb and pics of my previous cooperative living situation called Gnarnia on this blog here http://leafygreendreams.com/2014/11/10/vermont-and-omega-dness-a-wee-detour-to-new-york/)

Interests

Visiting Libraries, playing frisbee, listening to music reading graphic novels. Playing Pinball, Pool, Ping Pong, Portal, & Undertale.

I like learning how people live in different places, and I draw inspiration from seeing different perspectives on what makes a place feel like home.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If there is time I can pick up ingredients to make a nice meal, or just hang out and share anything they would like to know about growing up in the USA. I also like finding out what interests we might have in common!
