Overview
About Me
Because of my voluntary year in Thailand, my school exchange in New Zealand and working as a sailor in the Netherland I got much experience in travelling. I love to talk with people all around the world and I love to listen to stories from other travellers.
I love to visit locations, which only locals know, because mostly I don't like the touristy stuff, because in general I don't think it's authentic style of the country. For visiting more local places couchsurfing helps a lot.
I love to take photos, but I won't take my camera with me 24/7.
Right now I also try to shoot and edit short videos, but I don't do that often, too.
If you want to see even more photos(which are more up-to-date), check them on Instagram: @j_kob__
Somehow the CS-App and my phone aren't best buddies and messages don't reach me sometimes. So hopefully your message arrives me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love CS, because it's so easy to meet up and make friends all around the world. When I was younger, my parents started CS at our home, so we got some visitors. I realised how cool it was to join the "real" locals around the world and stay with them. I also like the style "sharing is caring" and I think, this is exactly, what CS is standing for.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is the greatest movie of them all because of this dreaming adventurous lifestyle.
Favorite music is quite difficult to tell because I nearly like every style of music (Except heavy metal, german-rap and operas).
My favorite book is probably "What if?" by Randall Munroe
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pretended to be a hotel guest to get into a rooftop pool.
There many more amazing things, but the most amazing one was probably my student exchange to New Zealand. I learned a lot of new stuff. It was really great.
Another experience I want to share. For you it's probably not that great, but for me it was: After I got dropped at Rong Kwang by a van from Nan, there was no Songthaew (like a bus) going to Song(my hometown in Thailand). A van stopped and some nice students and teachers (you can see them in one photo) from Prachinburi Technical College offered their help and drove me to the next junction in front of Song. There accidentally Big (one of my lovely students in 5/1(That's like grade 11)) was driving his motorcycle with a friend back to Song. So they offered me a ride on there motorcycle and we 3 drove at one motorcycle. I was so lucky and happy that night. Showed me how friendly Thailand really is.
But maybe you'll help me to experience a even more amazing thing....
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn the best places of the town, where only locals would go to.
Also I want to hear something about your job and what you studied, because I have no clue what to do in the future.
I can share many experiences of my journeys.
Many people say I would be great at repairing stuff and building stuff for the house. So I probably can help you with that.
