I'm travelling through Việt Nam at the moment and would like to meet other travellers and residents of the cities I'm coming through.
I'm also looking forward to host people at my flat once I'm back in Germany.

I adore being in nature and hiking for long distances. I did some trekking tours in Norway where I didn't see another human being for days - just pure nature around.
I also like to cycle and to do canoing/kayaking. In my youth I did canoe slalom and nowadays I play canoe polo (it's a combination of basketball and handball - but in kajaks).

I'm big on foodsaving and foodsharing. In my hometown I participate in the collection of food from several stores that passed its best before date and redistribute it to people who need it and to public distribution stations. I also love to go dumpster diving. (Maybe "love" is the wrong word - I like the activity and that I can save food, but it's really stupid that so much perfectly fine food gets thrown away everyday)

I enjoy to play boardgames. From casual stuff like Carcasson or Catan to heavier ones like Terraforming Mars or Arkham Horror. I'm also happy to learn new games. Furthermore I like couch co-op computer games.

I love going to raves - my favourite genres for that are DnB and Psytrance. I don't like big clubs where many people go just to "get laid". I go to these events because of the music and I heavily support safe spaces and safe partying so that everyone can enjoy the party the same. I had my best experiences partying either in some underground bunker so full of smoke that you couldn't see your hands in front of your eyes or in some forests where you could see the stars above you and enjoy the rising sun in the morning hours. All while being with ravers who cared and looked out for each other.

I'm interested in all kinds of music - there is no music that I inherently dislike - I always find something interesting while listening. I especially like traditional music of any culture. As I do music production in my free time, this way I always get some new inspiration, because there are so many special kinds of traditional music around that I would never come across on the radio or YouTube.

I've read a LOT of fiction in my youth. Nowadays I try to read more "serious" books where I can learn something from. But it's difficult for me to stay focused and I just can do a few dozens pages before I get tired - compared to doing 12 hours reading marathons with some fantasy book.
