About Me

Driven by endless curiosity, I decided to travel around the world after i finish high school. In the process I became more than a guy who just read a lot of books and fantasized about exploring the unknown; I lived with my best friends, I spent time in the places that took my breath away and am still in constant contact with trevellers from all around the world. I have shared so many experiences with people I have barely known, but they were the ones that could not be described as nothing but extraordinary. I'm in love with warm sunny places and warm sunny people. Passionate about anything that raises my pulse. I'm finding reason and satisfaction in growing, learning and pushing my limits.

I've recently started a blog about life on the road and my experiences on the way. You can find it here: http://www.unconditionedcuriosity.com/

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe life is a story you have to write on your own, not let society dictate how you live. Some people know that and they are the ones who give you a sense of wonder every time they speak.
Most of people I met that were this way, were hungry for experiences. Travellers, not tourists. And the best way to get a sense of some place is to see it from the position of a person who lives in that situation. Who grew up there, lived there, loved there. It's more enjoyable than reading a tour guide, I think ;)

Interests

Skydiving, traveling (obviously), snorkling, hiking, skiing, rock climbing, yoga, martial arts, reading, cooking, spirituality and self education. I recently learnt to surf and skateboard.

Music, Movies, and Books

Every book I read, seems to be my favourite for a while. If I had to choose, they would be Papillon by Henri Charriere and Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. I love all the works of Richard Bach. Also Walden, Shantaram and On the Road have left me inspired for a long time. Lately I've been reading non-fiction and fell in love with Untethered Soul, Allan Watts, Neale Donald Walsch, Joe Dispenza and David Deida.

Moviewise Spirited Away, Good Will Hunting, In Bruges, Rush, Lucky Number Slevin and Solace. Love the new King Arthur.

Music mostly depends on my mood, but lyrics or not, anything chill or trancy does the trick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ONE?! 😂😂

I jumped out of an airplane the first time I flew with one. And then 24 more times and survived all the dives so far.

I bought a motorbike and drove all around Vietnam, with an accident on the highway, and that wasn't even the closest I've come to dying there. I've never felt more alive.

I meditated for hours in ashrams in India.

Hitchhiked from middle of Thailand to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

I feel in love and moved to the other side of the world, breaking countless laws written by society that were supposed to keep us apart in the process.

Hiked French mountains, skied in Austrian Alps, surfed in Taiwan, got tattooed by a legendary 100 year old lady in Philippines, camped in Australia, rode trains in India, walked the streets of Budapest and so much more...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm learning how to be more present in the moment; how to experience life without holding back. Being spontaneous is what got me in some powerful situations and let me learn a lot about myself and the world. I hate small talk. Well, I guess I see its importance, but I avoid it whenever I can. Instead, let's dive deep and talk about everything from love to purpose and joy and all the shades of life in between

What I Can Share with Hosts

Positivity, laughs and some good times together.

Everything I know as long as you are prepared to listen and maybe some of the crazy stories I have.

I can teach yoga and mindfulness practices.

I'm happy to cook if I can find all the ingredients (or just enough that I can make something up.
