Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on many a couch, and hosted many a couchsurfer, both through this website and by other means.

Interests

Coffee from gas stations, Charles Shaw wine, Pablo Neruda, dance parties, ski touring, the Holga and the Rolleiflex, languages (Swedish, Portuguese and Spanish), Vikings, Sushi, doing dishes, Mariachi bands, Baja Mexico, short surfboards and long skateboards, biking over the Williamsburg bridge, wine in coffee cups, conversations till 4am, clubs that open at 2am, border crossings, New York Times Magazine, Illegal Petes, documentary films, Buenos Aires, New York City, Paris & Shanghai.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

here's one: I lived in a squat with 2000 people in the middle of Sao Paolo. It was in the middle of one of the worst neighborhoods, but inside this old dilapidated office building was an amazing community of some of the most intelligent, compassionate people that I've ever met.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach these things: how to load film in a Mamiya RZ, drive a stick shift, make an omelette, use an avalanche beacon.
