About Me

CURRENT MISSION

having returned fully to Berlin after 5 years of sharing my time between Berlin & 'Tunis, I write on new film projects and got involved in a start up project in Berlin

ABOUT ME

Being in my 40ies, I still enjoy travelling, learning new languages and seeing new things just like I did as a teenager. I couldn't decide to get a regular job with fixed working times so I started to make documentary films on what I currently live. My last film was called "When Paul came over the Sea" and before I did a film on and in Eastern Ukraine and looking for new projects and inspiration.
As much as I like travelling I always come back to my hometown Berlin, which I love and where my family lives and where I want to spend most of my time!

PHILOSOPHY

still searching...

Music, Movies, and Books

big fan of Frank zappa from youth but my music collection englobes pretty all styles as long as it's good!
Saw James Blake in Berlin , enjoyed it a lot. There is also great stuff from Bamako and Lagos in the Fela Kuti spirit. I also listen to some German music actually.
films: theorema from Pasolini is one of my favourites.
