I'm a 28 year old guy from Los Angeles traveling the world. I made this profile a while ago but never really used it. I wanted to give it another try as I realize it's a cool resource to meet people from other cultures. I traveled for 10 months in Latin America and am currently in Asia! I've been learning Muay Thai in Thailand for 7 weeks. I also learned how to speak Spanish in my travels :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about couch surfing a long time ago but never considered it because I was a little bit skeptical. But while staying at a hostel I met someone who did couch surfing and couldn't recommend it enough so I signed up! While staying at hostels or hotels, it's hard to be with locals and see what the locals do because you're constantly surrounded by other tourists who mostly speak English. So I think couch surfing would be a really good way to meet people and also practice learn from the locals!
