About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Beating introversion, shyness and social anxiety/dysfunction
ABOUT ME
I have no problems admitting that I'm quiet, shy and introverted guy, but who's in good mood for most of time. I'm INFP in Myers-Briggs personality test. (https://type-coach.com/types/infp)
On the other side of my silence is an honest, chill, open and determined guy. I'm non-judgmental and easy to be around - or so I've heard. But like I said, you have to deal with the silence cause I'm not one of those guys who just talks just to say something.
Ultimately, I'm a guy who loves life and intends to live the shit out of his.
You can see me on video on my blog http://becom.in
PHILOSOPHY
I think the title of my blog "Becoming Awesome" is pretty concise way to put it. I'm committed to growth, into becoming better version of myself, cause I believe that happiness doesn't come from what you get, it comes from what you become.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I basically couchsurfed through Japan. Thanks for all the kind Japanese people who welcomed in their homes, I owe them a lot for what was one of the warmest memories in my life (even if it was cold of the winter at the time) :)
Interests
I'm a writer first and foremost. I'm writing every day, working to improve my craft and to pump out new stuff.
My second and arguably even bigger passion is football. I love that game. Give me a green field, a ball and someone to play with and I'm set for a happy day. (Now I can get ill-tempered when losing, but it's still the stuff that makes me feel the most alive) - but it's no more the biggest priority of my life as it's too late for me to go pro.
I also take decent care of my body, with daily stretching and working out (besides just playing footy). You could call me a fitness nut and I've even published a health book on Kindle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just traveling alone is to me such a big challenge that I could even say that arriving to Malaysia for first time in 2012 was one of such. 24 years living in Finland, being in my comfort zone in isolation, and then I plunge myself into the adventure 10 000 kilometres away from home. It's hard to pick individual moments that left me awestruck, cause I tend to reminisce about mundane moments that don't translate well to text.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't have skills as such to teach, though I've played footy for 18 years so I probably can show beginner some moves, but even for that the only tip I have is "practice."
If I can teach anything, it's just generally being chill, smiling about life and appreciating the silence.
I'm getting better and better in open conversation all the time so I can share you my story, and I can share some good times with whoever who is kind enough to have me around.
Also, maybe my Finnish no-nonsense mentality, honesty and bluntness is something you might pick off x) And you have to learn how to deal with a shy guy if you are to be around me for a long time.
