ABOUT ME

I am not embarrassed easily as it seems an odd thing to use energy on; I am also very easily led. The combination has served me well so far and has led to a lot of adventures and friends who either joined me or led me farther astray.

I lived abroad for 5 years and still get itchy feet so I like to go exploring. I rarely have a plan, usually just a camera and a few ideas of what I might like to do, then I bimble around and usually stumble across something interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to meet people through CS when travelling, perhaps staying with people who can share their local knowledge with me.

I can't currently host anyone, but - having met lots of interesting people who couchsurfed with my cousin - hope to be able to do so in the future.

Anyone coming to the Isle of Man is welcome to get in touch for a meet up; I'm always up for an adventure and love to meet new people :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no couch surfing experience apart from helping to show around & entertain couch surfers that my cousin used to host - they were an eclectic mix!

Interests

Nature, music (most kinds :-), people, cooking & food, ale, dancing, drawing, yoga, jogging, diving, travelling

I believe that dancing is one of the best things you can do with your time and that the best dancing requires no actual dancing talent, only relentless enthusiasm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably a dive in the Seychelles where I was surrounded by 3 whirling schools of fish.

Cooking, basic Spanish, SCUBA diving (though I don't have any equipment!), I know bits & bobs about nature - especially things in the sea
