I am Jakub. I love traveling, It's the important part of my life. I've been to Mexico, USA and many other countries, at my home Europe. I usually travel with my girlfriend, we have been through many adventures together, usually just with small backpacks. I do like hiking, meeting up new people, exploring new cultures and tasting new cuisines and also freedom what the traveling brings you. Beside that I like creative writing, painting photographing, history and cooking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the integral part of traveling for me is exploring new cultures and I think the best way to do that is by meeting people. By my experience, people are great all around the world, I got friends in Mexico, USA, Hungary, Dominican republic and in many other parts of world and some of them are the best friends at all.
And if somebody wants to I would like to show him how our culture looks like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Beside some exceptions I like all music, the most exhilarating music to me is country, latino music, irish folk, indian music, arabian music, baroque music and good old performers like Beatles, U2, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra and much more. I don't want to exhaust you by reading it. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've worked for three months in Connecticut´s camp in the USA, which was amazing. There was many people from all around the world and I'm still in touch with some of them. We worked together, ate together, had fun together, it was undescribable. And btw. one of my requests was to scare off the bears that sneaked into our campground.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking so for me there is no problem to show you how the czech cuisine taste. I think I'm quite friendly and I like chatting, playing board games, and whatever you want to. I always like to try something exciting and new.
