For the academic year ( October 2017 - May 2018) I'll be staying at my flat in Wrocław, still open to hosting surfers.

My name is Kuba and I am a 21 years old IT student on a continuous journey looking for that one special thing which will catch my interest so hard that I won't be able to resist doing it for the rest of my life.

I love sports and spending time in an active way. I used to play table tennis, football and futsal (semi-pro). Nowadays, I like to start my day with a mild run and I would hit the gym or a kickboxing class in the evening.
I love travelling, although majority of my travels were taken with my parents. Now I want to travel on my own (what a big boy) and acknowledge new countries and their cultures. I love food. I guess eating is my #1 Passion. I believe getting to know the cuisine of the country you are visiting is crucial to understanding the culture and customs of people living there, so it is important to me to try local food and not to rely on KFC or McD while being abroad.

In everyday life I try to be an open-minded person, trustworthy and tolerant. I am christian, but I am highly open to meeting people from different cultures and religions, as I believe we are all one big family.
I travelled through half of the Europe, which I believe is beautiful, but getting to know more exotic (from my point of view) places is my dream. I would love to travel to the USA, South America and far Asia.

In the past, I would always make excuses not to travel too far, because of high prices of air tickets and expenses, but now I want to change my approach and travel where I always wanted to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I love getting to know new countries, new cultures and cuisines.
I believe Couchsurfing gives me a great chance to fulfill a dream of travelling far away and acknowledging culture and customs of the locals 'from the inside'.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to whatever depending on what I'm doing. I love rock, some of the pop and rap. Nowadays I mostly listen to Polish rap :D

I love watching movies. I like to do it alone, with some buddies and with my gf. I enjoy watching basically everything from comedies (unless it is a suuuuper stupid one), through dramas to action movies. Recently, I enjoyed watching La La Land, Whiplash, Hacksaw Ridge, Nerve and The Accountant.

When I was younger I used to read a lot of fantasy and science fiction. Nowadays I enjoy reading popular science books, thought provoking writings and non-fiction. Recently I spent my time reading "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss and I can highly recommend it :)
