Overview
About Me
I have always been a busy type. In my primary school I found my two passions that determined the rest of my life – love for drawing and traditional music. A fantasy and sci-fi active fandom participant, I currently play flutes and whistles in a few bands: Duan (Traditional Irish Music), Celtic Tree (a mix of poetry and ceol nua), Balonique (European Balfolk music) and an international group Sprinkle Blizzard (Balfolk music) with more side-projects of different genres always on their way. A Master of Arts in English Translation, I am often to be seen playing Irish traditional sessions, Fest-Noz and Balfolk dance music (I am a casual dancer too). I am fond of travelling, especially mountain hiking, from which I draw inspiration. For a living, along with my father, I make tin whistle and low whistle flutes for both traditional and modern music as the Goldfinch Whistles. Ocassionally, I also deal with amateur video game making, yet havent finished most of my overambitious projects. Still, its fun!
