I'm easy-going, peaceful and respectful person with attitude to the nature and all living beings. I was born in Pilsen but actually live in a small town Starý Plzenec close to Pilsen. After I finished my studies at University in Czech, I spent fifteen months on Working Holiday in New Zealand and almost two months travelling in Asia. I was also working in Scotland for almost six months. I like travelling, exploring different parts of the world and getting to know culture in other countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The biggest goal of Couchsurfing I can see, is the meeting of different people of different cultures and sharing the experiences from the journeys or from the life. I hope couchsurfing is the way how to meet interesting people and make some new friends. I also like to show to foreigners cultural and natural beauty of my home country.

Interests

I like sports and active lifestyle in general. I was playing actively football for 18 years.

I love winter sports especially snowboarding, skiing, cross-country skiing and ice hockey. My father taught me how to ski even before I could read and write. I also love outdoors. I was hiking and tramping in Slovakian, New Zealand, Italian and French mountains. I finished some long distance trails, like Tour du Mont Blanc in French Alps and GR20 in Corsica and also some great walks in New Zealand. My big passion is sailing. I was sailing along the Croatian coast twice.

In relation to my field of study and my another interest - Ecology and Natural Conservation I´m participating on two projects mainly focused on beaver and wolf ecology in Northwest part of Czech Mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically, I like all music genres from classic and instrumental music to modern electronic music. But I prefer rock music, funky, jazz, trip hop, dnb and oldschool rap...Sometimes, when I´m relaxing I like to surf on youtube and look for some new artists.

I like Kubric´s, Spielberg´s, Stone´s, Lynch´s and Tarantino´s movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent alone three days hiking adventure in New Zealand´s wilderness without anybody seeing...
