Overview
About Me
Quite quiet.
Sometimes surprisingly loud.
Have to stick to gluten-free diet.
But like beer and everything about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that Couchsurfing is great opportunity to meet other people with similar ambitions and easy way how to travel around the world at minimum cost and maximum experience.
As I have already experienced couchsurfing as a guest I would like to also experience it from the other side, as a host, once I move to my own apartment. Even though my hometown (Ostrava, Czech Republic) isn't quite tourist center I think there is a lot of to experience thru couchsurfing :)
Interests
I like to explore music across the genres and food across the world.
Apart of these two great hobbies I collect books (also read them of course), starting with collection of vinyl records (also listen them of course), play the guitar, make photos and trying to catch in the video industry with some of my wedding videos and other attempts.
Must not forget animals; dogs, cats (formerly alergic to them, recently cured), chinchillas (own two) and in fact any kind of animal except giant jumping spiders.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
From first grade I played the trumpet but recently had to stop playing.
My guitar journey started on metalish-rockish base. I wanted to be rock star so I bought my first acoustic guitar and was peeling my fingers off trying to play as Buckethead. Once I realized I hadn't the style I turned around 180° and got into jazz music and stuck with it.
I listen a lot of various genres, through jazz and classics to IDM and breakcore.
But I don't consider myself as musical guru or anything, there is a lot of music out there and one can't listen everything.
Books:
I try to collect books. One reason is I like smell of books and yes I'm materialist and the other reason is my poor memory, so I can grab a book I read half a year ago as new one.
I read mostly fiction and sometimes grab some sci-fi, especialy dystopic pieces as "We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin or "Mockingbird" by Walter Tevis.
Movies:
I was a big fan of movies as junior and went through every review for every new movie. Recently I got lazy to read them but I tend to choose movies with idea behind the story and with not so clear message.
I like work of David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Chan-Wook Park, Darren Aronofsky, Lars von Trier.
