ABOUT ME

So much to say ! where should I begin? I love travelling with my family and meeting new people and exchanging , sharing views on culture, gender studies, local traditions and festivals, food etc ,etc!!
I am passionate about cooking and find it therapeutic to try experimenting with new recipes in my kitchen.
Very fond of reading- especially Contemporary Literature and Childrens' Literature. Favourite authors include Amitava Ghosh, Vikram Seth, Chinua Achebe, Pablo Neruda...
Fond of listening to old jazz, both,vocal and insrtumental.

Had my first couch surfing experience in The U.S. this summer - it was the best part of my trip. I look forward to more of it in my future travels.
