ABOUT ME

I think generally what moves me is a will to change, to become something different from what I already am. I was born in the far south of Brasil and just moved to Rio de Janeiro in order to pursue my studies in philosophy of law and to find out about my own country.

Acho que de modo geral o que me move é a vontade de mudar, de me tornar algo diferente do que eu já sou. Eu nasci no sul do sul do Brasil e recém me mudei para o Rio de Janeiro para continuar meus estudos em filosofia do direito e conhecer melhor o Brasil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am living alone and, unless I'm too busy, I can host.

Estou morando sozinho e, a não ser que esteja muito ocupado, posso hospedar.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing when traveling in Uruguay, Argentina and France, and met some great people that way. I didn't host yet because I used to live with my parents.

Eu usei o couchsurfing viajando no Uruguai, Argentina e França, e conheci pessoas fantásticas assim. Eu ainda não hospedei porque costumava morar com meus pais.

Interests

I can be interested in virtually anything. If you really like to talk about something, and you really know your stuff, I will surely be interested in it.

Eu posso me interessar por virtualmente qualquer coisa. Se você realmente gosta do seu assunto, e sabe do que está falando, eu vou certamente me interessar nele.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have no problem with slow movies. Salinger, Sartre and Cortázar changed my life. My favorite rock band is Radiohead. I like brazilian popular music too. Getting gradually into jazz. I want to read all the literature in the world. Philosophy is literature.

Não tenho problema com filmes lentos. Salinger, Sartre e Cortázar mudaram a minha vida. Minha banda de rock favorita é o Radiohead. Gosto de MPB também. Aprendendo a gostar de jazz. Quero ler toda a literatura no mundo. Filosofia é literatura.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A guy in favela da Maré who looked like a gangster, but when he passed by I saw that on the back of his shirt there was a picture of Goku as a super sayajin 4.

Um cara na favela da Maré que parecia um chefão do tráfico mas, quando ele passou por mim, eu vi que atrás da camisa dele tinha um desenho do Goku como super sayajin 4.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn about anything that you know well and are interested in. I can teach something about philosophy, brazilian and southern-brazilian culture, musical theory, law.

Me interesso por aprender qualquer coisa que você conhecer e quiser ensinar. Posso ensinar algo sobre filosofia, cultura brasileira e do sul do Brasil, teoria musical, direito.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Apart from the teach, learn, share section, I usually think it is polite to invite my host for a drink or something, on me. Also I'll wash the dishes and help out with anything necessary.

Para além da seção teach, learn, share, eu normalmente acho que é questão de educação convidar meu hospedeiro pra beber algo na minha conta. Também lavo os pratos e procuro ajudar com o que for necessário.
