Overview
About Me
I grew up in Minnesota but I have traveled all over, mostly for or through school programs or research: Egypt, France, Nepal, Canada, Mexico, Switzerland, Mozambique, South Africa, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Belize, and of course all over the United States.
I am always looking for opportunities that involve taking care of our planet and building community. I also adore performance, from dancing to reciting poetry to improv to making elaborate costumes….
Until I find the perfect job, I run my own gardening business. I really like work that involves working outside all day.
If you want someone to ramble on about plants and animals and radical ideas about degrowth and community economies, it's me! I love all food and am willing to try pretty much anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it just makes sense to share our spaces with each other and not make everything about profit. Meeting new people is the spice of life!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to mostly funk, soul, folk, and pop music, but I dabble in all genres - I don't discriminate when it comes to jams. I also enjoy most movie genres, but I admit I don't like horror.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Continue to exist
Teach, Learn, Share
Plants! I especially love foraging and eating wild plants. I also LOVE to sew and could teach you to use a sewing machine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am very social, so I’m always down for just about any group activity. I adore finding places to eat and drink, I like to sing and can play a little guitar. I love to dance and explore cool places. I love exchanging stories and I’m always eager to learn new things!
