One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling for two months and well over 10,000 miles solo across this vast country. Proud to say that everything I owned fit in the confines of my car (with room to spare).
Picking up a hitch-hiker on my way out of Seattle in 2013. His 23rd birthday landed us free VooDoo donuts in Portland!
Sharing my poutine with a stranger on the streets of Montreal at 2am.
Hitching a ride on a rowboat in Croatia in order to get off of an island (we missed the last ferry).
Getting to spend only a few hours in Budapest but having it be (coincidentally) St Stephens Day--fireworks and wine for all!
Visiting the Mostar bridge, which my grandfather painted on the cement block wall of his basement. My cousin and I were very excited to come back with pictures for him.
