ABOUT ME
Gay male here, back Baton Rouge after spending 3 years in Philly. I'm don't drink, and pretty mellow chill person. I travel for my job, fortunately (unfortunately) they pay for a private hotel room. I backpacked in Spain and Portugal for 4 weeks by myself staying in hostel, and meeting people splitting hotels rooms. It was the best experience ever.
PHILOSOPHY
Make the best of what you got. When you change the way you look at the world, the world around you changes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a 3 bedroom house and a roommate. You can sleep on the couch or blow up air mattress that i can put out in the living room for anyone insterested in a place to crash. It's in a nice area in the Baton Rouge, but transportation is required (Baton Rouge public transit sucks). Baton Rouge is about an hour and 20 min from New Orleans

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Aosta Italy for a ski trip with a friend. Navigatived the Milan ourselves from the airport to central station without a map and not knowing Italian or the city. From Milan we switched trains in the middle of the night at this SMALL italian train, and boarded 2 train with only two cabin (maybe 24 seats on the entire train). Met the ONLY people who spoke any english, who helped us find our hotel at our destination. The guy spoke with the hotel owner (who didn't speak any english), to made accommodations for us to just leave the keys in the room when we left! A life saver. We arrived to Aosta the day of an Hot Air Balloon festival, and contacted one of the locals who gave us a number of to one of the local business. The next day we took a balloon ride in the Alps. Fabulous!
As well, was traveling in Spain during the 2004 Madrid training bombings. Luckily for me I was stuck in Valencia, because my friend in Madrid never got back to me (Who lived next to one of the stations where a bomb exploded)
