James is currently a senior at UCLA, majoring in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. James is the Co-Founder of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) and was appointed to the State Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (SAC JJDP) by the Governor of California, Jerry Brown. James also sits on the Executive Board for the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, the Board of Directors for the John M. Lloyd Foundation, and the Advisory Board for the California Alliance for Youth and Community Justice. His experience has led to invitations to meet with high ranking political officials including President Barack Obama. One of his key messages is that it is never too late for someone to change.
