Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend recommended CS and i joined ages ago but kinda forgot about it. When I started travelling around a lot more I thought I'd check it out, and now that I've met some cool people from all over the world and I love it! :)

Interests

Music, talking, socialising, talking, meeting new people and learning new things. And talking. Oh, and drinking tea and beer, often in the gaps between talking :) As for topics of conversation - everything is there to be thought about and discussed. I'm vegan (I was going to say 'not a weird one' but that's not true! So I'll say 'not an annoying one'. Actually, that's subjective. 'an open-minded one'' then lol).

Music, Movies, and Books

It's impossible to say what my favourite music is. Alternative rock, punk, indie, hardcore, folk, ska, northern soul/motown, classic rock, rock n roll, blues, jazz, alt-country, classical. I guess mostly rock related though. And i like records! Spotify is great,, but no substitute for picking up a record, looking at the artwork a band has chosen, then listening to their music...

Movies - every style. Sci-Fi and fantasy, thrillers, romcoms, action adventures and art house. The best films ever made are obviously the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit films though of course.
