About Me

I'm a student! Lifelong Learner. I attend the Technische Universität München and I've been looking for a place to stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of the great joys of travelling is the opportunity for meeting new and friendly people. Couchsurfing seems to be a website for exactly that!

When visiting a place there is so little time and much of what should be learned of a city can't be found in brochures and travel websites.

Interests

I enjoy food, drink, and taking in sights. Pretty touristy things. I also love to do whatever it is that the locals do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always like to hear new music. I can hardly listen to the radio because they play songs over and again. I've really been into podcasts for the past couple years. Radiolab, Freakonomics, Hardcore History. I listen to a lot of NPR, Fresh Air, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, All Things Considered.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing things I've done all of a sudden don't seem so amazing when in the context of this site, many of whom I imagine to have done much more amazing things. For example, when I was 18, I walked across my city, it was about 18 miles. Some years ago, I did a roadtrip of the western United States. I worked as an unpaid intern in the House of Representatives. Traveling to and living in Germany has been my greatest experience to date.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to think I hold a more rational view of the world than most---informed by my psychological background---but at the same time I try to be as open minded as possible; and my travels have done nothing if humbled me for what "rational" even means." If there's one thing I know, it's that I don't know much.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Palestine, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United States
