About Me

Friendly Aussie guy. Work in health.
I'm a lifelong student of the world.

I've travelled extensively as a volunteer, student, worker, explorer, holiday maker.

My life philosophy is to LIVE and LET LIVE.

I am also a proponent of loving thy neighbour, but not in a religious way...I love social justice, empathy, and generosity of spirit.

I tend to get along with everyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is for living, and an open heart is as important as an open mind.

It's a valuable life skill learning to both offer and accept humble hospitality, without demanding anything in return.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a month in a developing Pacific island nation, where living conditions are tough, and resources are scarce.
I was helping to set up a new ambulance service for the country, training local staff in emergency response and first aid.

I'm so proud of them...the ambulance service is still running years later, despite all the challenges they face
