I'm on couch surfing to get a better insight/feel for the places I visit.
When you stick to the regular tourist track you have a bit o a limited view on the places visited. It's fun and interesting to have local insight.
I live in a town that revives a lot of travellers every year and it's always fun to show them what my town has to offer.
