About Me
Hola! I've spent the last 7 months traveling. I've traveled the eastern side of Australia for 6 months with a close friend in our beloved van. All the way from Darwin up to the oldest rain forest in the world (The Daintree Forest) then all down the east coast to Tasmania! :)
CURRENT MISSION
I am now traveling Europe and looking for something better then a tourist highlight. Something unique and considered a hidden gem, an "off the beaten track" experience. Right now I want to have a bucolic atmospheric experience by meeting locals, making friends, and experiencing what it's like to live in rural suburban areas. Not to be confused, I would prefer living outside the city but of course I am willing to live anywhere, the city inclusive :)
PHILOSOPHY
I grew up thinking that money was a necessity in life, that to be successful and comfortable I needed money. I thought money would make me happy and I didn't question it until I experienced an epiphany about life. This happened after I traveled Australia and came back to my home town. I began to realise that, for me, money was not as important that I had onced believed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I desire to grow and push myself out of my boundries. I am NOT looking for a free bed, I am looking for a genuine local experience! I want to meet amazing people and experience an authentic cultural difference. I have been to London and seen the big been, I've been to Paris and seen the Eiffle tower and I've been to Berlin and witnessed the Berlin wall. However i desire something more unique. I want to live and work on a farm in Italy, play football with the people of England, learn to dance with the people of Spain, fall in love in France, climb a mountain in Slovenia, ski in Switzerland, skydive in Sweden, learn German in Germany, see the northern lights in Norway and just live life to the fullest. I don't want to do the typical cliché tourist activities rather something incredibly memorable and make friends I can call family and of course return the favour wherever I end up in life :) I envision a world where we all trust each other and where every single person would go out of their way to help every other person and their individual life journey. An epitome of connection and trust with every single person.
Interests
As you might have guessed I'm interested in philosophy. I think the most important aspect in each person's life is time itself. Other then that I enjoy nearly all sports. I played football for approximately 6 years as a child, I played tennis for a year (not competitively), I've played lots of different sports, 1 year of karate and given meditation and yoga a go. I currently travel with a LongBoard as all as I'm in love with it and learning how to slide down hills at high speeds! I am very interested in hikes in the wilderness away from all the chaotic congestion of the city where you can hear nothing but nature and your own thoughts of peacefulness bliss. I enjoy cars as well, how they work, how they are assembled and of course how fast they can go! Camping under the stars is also obviously a brilliant experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, movies and books are amazing things. They can change your entire emotion within minutes, make you feel happy when you're sad and sad when you are happy. It's undescribable to explain how some songs make you feel and often I find unexplainable how some movies make you feel. I consider a good movie as one that will make you sit on the edge of your seat with the same facial expression for hours, not even blinking. One that will leave you absolutely lost for words as you leave the cinema. One that will make you think about your own future and life. A movie that you start watching with a natural emotion but by the end your excited, confused, angry or crying. A good movie is one that really connects with the audience and their emotion. I love movies, all different types. I love action movies, drama movies, romantic. Almost everything. As for books, I'm not a huge reader, however I'm trying to change that. I'm currently reading Anne Frank and plan to read a lot more holocaust books as I'm very interested in the era.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I could give you food.
I could give you money.
I could give you clothes.
But these items are nothing but materials. What I will give you is something that no other person on this planet can give you. Something that can't be replaced, something that can't be made, something that you will remember when I'm gone. I'll give you a portion of my life as I'll never ever get that back. I'll give you the memories of an Australian who is on his own spiritual journey to find out what life is about and why traveling opens up your mind so much.
