I am an undergraduate Mechanical Engineer studying at Coventry Univeristy in the UK. I am currently on a work placement year abroad to gain more industrial experience for my degree, I'm working in Medellin as an intern at a company in Itagui that manufactures turbochargers for sports cars.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm on Couchsurfing becasue I love to get to know place better than the tourist attractions. Same as in the UK, Big Ben, the London eye and Houses of Parliment do not represent the rest of the country and its culture. I am currently back on couchsurfing as I came to Colombia with a comapny that was able to help me find an internship in Medellin in Engineering, they also provided me with accomodation but at a high cost. I am now extending my internship and I am planning to stay in Medellin till May 29th.

Interesses

I love watching and playing sports, especially rugby and squash. I obviously love to travel like most people on Couchsurfing, however after backpacking to South east asia and Australia, I am now trying to seek more work oppertunities abroad in order to learn more in depth about local culture and really get to know these beautiful places more.

I know how to juggle and use the diabolo, guess I could teach you how to use that. I am very keen to learn more spanish while here in Colombia, I learnt for a year in school years ago, however my spanish is very rusty now , so very keen to learn much more during my timme here. I am also keen to learn some dancing, Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and more. I have been attending Dance Free in Parque Lleras for te past 3 weeks trying to improve.
