About Me
Hey!
My name is James, and I am a student from the University of Colorado, currently on exchange in Uppsala, Sweden. In addition to studying mathematics, I work on an ambulance in Denver and I perform improv comedy. When I go back to the US, I'll be applying to medical school, so I am trying to get the most out of my time in Europe by traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing new cultures! I am an laid-back type of guy, and pretty easy to get along with (or at least I hope so)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met a friend while traveling, and she could not stop talking about how wonderful her experiences were with Couchsurfing, so I thought I would give it a try! I find that while traveling, it is easy to meet and befriend other travelers, but getting to know the locals is so much more difficult. Couchsurfing seems like the perfect solution to this!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love a good conversation, and getting to know people! I am pretty invested in US politics, and I enjoy those types of discussions. I have a head full of random facts, so I am an absolute asset at any trivia night you need me at. I have worked on an ambulance as an EMT for the last 2 years, so you are at least less likely to die if I'm around, haha (; I am honestly a pretty bad cook, but I can make a mean grilled cheese sandwich if the situation requires it.
