Overview
About Me
Successful business owner who is lucky enough to be able to take time away for the my primary responsibilities (which pay the bills) to experience life through a fresh perspective, be it from the seat of my trusty road bike or the lens of my camera.
I have discovered that the people I meet are the primary attraction in my travels and the experiences and connections make me much better at my 'day job'.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Enjoying a never-ending series of tiny mini-sabbaticals where the only objective is to stop and smell the roses and maybe document the moment in words and pictures.
If it had be an available choice, I would have listed KINDNESS as a both a language that I am fluent in and a language I continue to learn as it can never be completely mastered.
Interests
I have touched on a few: Photography, Writing, Cycling & Kindness. I'd also include live music (even recordings of live performances I find are better than their studio counterparts), red wine, art, yoga, hiking and other outdoor activities that require very little hand-eye coordination, cooking and most of all, new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
There is so much that I like, it's hard to provide an inclusive list other than to say that country western and hip-hop haven't yet clicked for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing is a tough standard. I have done some pretty fun things including studying massage, winning a local 5k road race & a local cooking competition and raising a boatload of money for an animal shelter over one weekend.
I am in the helping business and that's a great fit for me. Again, it's about kindness.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have noticed that there is often, no yoga classes at these really large conferences I speak at so I have discovered a neat way to encourage my fellow yogi attendees to bring their mat and early in the morning, we have a flash mob style yoga class, usually near the pool but if it's cold or raining, we might just have 30 people doing yoga in the lobby.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My presence. My empathy. My stories, although I rather hear about you. Cooking lessons, massage training, wine tasting.
