CURRENT MISSION

For May 2023 I have 4 weeks in Bologna to start to learn the beautiful Italian language. (Unfortunately Esta has to miss out on this one)
I aim to live life with as much fun and adventure as possible, meeting new people along the way.

ABOUT ME

James:
I am a doctor currently working in the UK.
I previously spent 4 months Living in France (Angers) on ERASMUS. Where I have really enjoyed meeting new people here and has inspired me to join this site.
I love good food and fine wine, finding new recipes and cooking for friends.

Esta:
I currently teach in an all boys school in Liverpool teaching the lads Physics. I have a Physics Degree - boring!
I love spending my free time drinking Champagne in the sun, but living in England limits me to the summer months and odd weekends, otherwise I like watching foreign films and American trashy TV, and walk in the park opposite.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted once and stayed with 3 amazing hosts when we were travelling in France. Hoping to expand these numbers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As above 3 stays with 3 amazing groups of people when we were travelling through France. The experience was amazing and inspired us to host ourselves.

Intereses

Together we love to go out and try new restaurants, theater productions or new comics on tour. We love to attend our local cinema where they often show foreign films. Our favorite pub in Liverpool city centre often puts on new bands which we love to go an listen to. And obviously socialising with our friends.

Música, películas y libros

We are very eclectic in our music tastes but mainly indie, electro, jazz, rock and folk.
When it comes to our book taste we love the classics as well as the main titles (for holiday reading)
Movies - as mentioned above we love to go to the cinema and keep updated on foreign films.

Algo increíble que he hecho

We are both about to go Aqua-Sphering, which should be fun. Has worked in hospitals in Hong Kong and France, flown a plane across North Wales, climbed Mont. Snowdon, seen the David and climbed the leaning tower of Pisa.

We have stayed up all night in Venice and watched the sun rise.
