About Me
**currently re-building my profile after moving to London**
From Norwich, UK - I am very passionate about it, so ask me anything! I like to talk and see how people live in different places. I’m very open mind and curious to try new things (especially new food). I study world art and anthropology and specialise in the South Pacific - I’m currently travelling the Pacific before starting a PhD in Pacific History.
If we meet in Norwich or somewhere else in the world let’s grab a drink and take it from there. I post pictures of Norwich and my travels on www.instagram.com/jamesakfinch/
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOSTING I want to share my beautiful hometown with the world. It has so much to offer that is hidden and unique - I love helping people uncover its secrets.
SURFING When I’m travelling I love to get the local perspective and advise. It’s the best way to become familiar with new places. **I’m still new to Couchsurfing, just going with the flow at the moment**

PODCASTS: I listen to a lot of podcasts - just ask about this one.

Teach, Learn, Share
Food is very important! I love cooking and trying new food: I do a good roast dinner, chocolate fudge cake and sherry trifle (have you tried an English trifle before?).
I have studied art and cultures from all over the world for the past 5 years, I'm sure we could have some interesting conversations about that!
