About Me
Hey! I'm James, a recent graduate currently doing voluntary work in the local community before starting work in September.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Need places to stay across Europe + rest-of-world this year and prefer to meet people/get immersed than to stay in hotels or hostels.
Interests
My interests are many:
I love music, especially classical, and have played the piano for a number of years. I also play the organ at churches in Liverpool when I'm available.
I'm quite progressively, and chose to combine this outlook with my studies at University. I'm very interested in philosophy and theology, sport, politics, art...and much more
I'm a Royal Navy reservist and went on my first deployment during the Summer of 2014.
I love to party and to socialise with my friends. Eating out, discovering new places, as well as meeting new friends, is a huge affection of mine and I want to dedicate as much time as possible to this.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to Israel and Palestine this January with a charity coordination to assess the state of Christians living in the Holy Land. Walked through a minefield and then led the singing in a peaceful protest at the Erez checkpoint as we waited to gain access to Gaza. Managed to secure a permit to enter Gaza and spend some days there; living with, listening to and helping people who sought the group's support.
