About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As of June 1st 2017 I will have finished my exchange program at the University of Amsterdam and will take a month to backpack around Europe!!
To this date I haven't had the chance to visit Europe, or any other Continent apart from America, for that matter, and am really excited to see some new places!
Traveling alone is an opportunity I have yet to embark in; and couchsurfing will enable me to meet new people from other countries, cultures and backgrounds which will contribute to an unique experience!

Music, Movies, and Books
I actually don't have a favorite genre of music, I enjoy it (almost) all!
I've gone through faces of hard rock and metal (AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Van Halen, etc), then more of classic rock (Queen, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd).
I also love electronic music, mostly techno and tech-house/house; rap (such as Tupac and Biggie), and much more!

Regarding movies, wow, I could talk all day!!
If I had to choose my top 5 I would have to say (not in any particular order): The Usual Suspects, Shawshank Redemption, Catch Me If You Can, Forest Gump and The Skin I Live In.

Lastly books! Ahh, reading for pleasure, something I enjoy (and miss) so much!
Having to read tons for school makes you forget how enjoyable reading is. If I had to choose my favorite book I would have to say The Kite Runner together with A thousand Splendid Suns, both by Khaled Hosseini.
In addition I enjoy reading books from Dan Brown, James Patterson, John Grisham and Stephen King, and some Latin-American writers such as Jorge Luis Borges, Cortázar, Carlos Fuentes and Gabriel García Márquez.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been working at the Legal Defense Clinic Innocence Project (you might have heard of it if you watched the documentary Making a Murderer on Netflix). It's basically a legal aid clinic where we defend people who have been wrongfully convicted (in other words, innocent) and work as hard as we can to get the judgement overturned and help them regain their freedom!
Teach, Learn, Share
A couple of years ago, I went to Salta (northern Argentina) with other classmates and professors from my former high school to spend time with kids who lived in extreme poverty.
We tried as hard as we could to help them forget their situation for at least brief periods, remind them that they are children and that they are supposed to have fun.
It was a volunteer project that lasted about a month, and it has marked me till this day.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share culturally rich conversations; cook them Argentine foods such as empanadas, milanesas, and many others; help them with anything I can.
