Présentation
À propos de moi
Hey! :)
I'm a 26-year old musician from Brighton (south of London - on the beach) and I've been travelling since 2014 by playing music on the streets and at parties and weddings. I usually travel around central Europe in the spring and summer months and then head somewhere warmer for the winter, but I spent the last winter (2017) in Leipzig while working on a band project and I don't plan to spend too much time in the snow anymore!
I love nature, whether it's mountains so I can hike, climb or cycle off-road, or whether it's the beach where I can surf! I am British, so naturally I love to drink, but as I get older I find myself appreciating a bottle of wine rather than 20 cheap beers!
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I love to meet new people. Hostels are absolutely great, but there's something you find with couchsurfing which you don't when you're only hanging out with other tourists from the hostel. Plus, if anybody's ever spent €25 on a hostel bed in a small city, only to find that the hostel is empty, you'll understand why couchsurfing can be better :)
Centres d'intérêt
I'm very musical: I play guitar and ukulele, but I'm a singer in my heart! I've played and sang since I was 14 and I can't believe how different my life would be if I'd never picked up a guitar haha. I love hiking and rock climbing cause I'm a sucker for the mountain scenery (though being on top of a mountain in a lightning storm is the scariest thing I've ever done - multiple times), and back in England I have a motorcycle which I want to ride through the Pyrenees one day :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
My music taste is pretty varied, but I get along with almost anything that's played on (mostly) acoustic instruments - The Beatles are obviously just the top, The Last Shadow Puppets, Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, The Smiths, The Velvet Underground, to name a few :)
Movies: I've been called pretentious for not liking Fast And The Furious 11 or Transformers 17 or whatever, but any movie which doesn't assume that I need every detail explained - or one CGI explosion in every scene to keep my attention - is worth watching! Inside Llewyn Davis is my favourite film recently.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
How does someone choose one?! Hiking up a mountain and swimming in a lake, climbing up a cliff, drinking beer with new friends, exploring an abandoned mineshaft and learning to breathe fire - all in one day - that was pretty awesome :)
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I'm absolutely awful at cooking and would love to change that, mostly because I've eaten pasta every day for about 10 years now haha. But I love to learn everything and want to keep discovering :)
I could probably teach some guitar and ukulele, maybe how to juggle or something!
