Overview
About Me
I'm quite possibly one of the most laid back people alive. I absolutely love to travel, I adore making new friends from all over the world and maintaining friendships. I like playing sports and exercising, concerts, festivals of all kinds, and good food. I am a musician at heart ( I play the piano, guitar and saxophone as hobbies) and Im a pretty decent cook. I'm always happy to cook for new friends and hosts!
I'm new to CS; my roommate in Chicago (where i currently live) has hosted many people over the last year or so and it inspired me to dive into it. I've ended up having so many incredible conversations and adventures with surfers who've stayed with us, and now as I begin to explore as much of the world as possible, I want that same experience from their perspective.
I hate small talk with a passion. I'm not immune to it yet, but I plan to be one day. I like getting to know people, and what makes them tick, and who they really are. Sometimes fear of judgment creates a void between two people; I believe in acceptance and understanding; having conversations and establishing meaningful relationships with people who are willing to do the same.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm making an effort to spend as much time as possible outside the United States, especially now that an angry cheeto is our president.
I'm hoping to be able to exhibit my respectfulness and desire to become apart of the CS community through my upcoming travels by cooking, sharing experiences, and teaching what I can; I'm a musician and I've been practicing meditation and similar calming practices for many years now. I'm a giving person by nature and i hope to be able to develop lasting relationships through CS.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is central to my life and my spirit.
Some of my favorite artists are Disclosure, kid cudi, kaytranada, blink 182, Sia, the chainsmokers, flume, Childish Gambino, the strokes, Rjd2, and Muse. I could go on for hours listing my favorite music, I love almost all of it.
There's no better feeling in the entire world for me than hearing a song for the first time that has a true impact on my life and how I perceive the world. In that same spirit, I love helping others have that same experience through music.
My favorite books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the privilege to go on Safari in Kenya and have an eye opening and life changing travel experience. It was there I got to meet Sir Roger Moore, who was staying at the same lodge that I was at.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to connect with people through music and great food, and being able to impart my tastes in both things is paramount for me to feel like I've been a guest worth hosting.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love of cooking and music, and I'm happy to cook a meal or two.
Countries I’ve Visited
England, France, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Tanzania
