Overview
About Me
I'm in my mid 20s and trying to find some adventure in my life; so I put my professional career on hold and I'm spending some months traveling the US by foot and by cycling. In my regular life you can find me working in desktop Support fixing computers and working with users. However, my heart belongs in the woods, I find myself at home amongst tall pines and mossy forests. When I'm not in the woods, I'm usually in the shop building something, I love carpentry, automotive work and custom fabrication. When it's late and time to relax I'll most likely be kicking back, watching a sunset, drinking a beer and chilling out to some mellow tunes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend Bea and I came off the Pacific Crest Trail in late May due to snow conditions on the trail. However, we still wanted an adventure so we loaded up our bikes and are cycling across America to the east coast!
She is from the UK and part of our trip objectives is for her to meet people and get to know America a little better (plus I love meeting people). Also, with a long trip hotels can get quite expensive; between camping and staying with people we are looking to keep costs down. So what better way to check off both boxes than through couch surfing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly listen to indie and folk but I'm really ok with anything that has a good beat! Some of my favorites are Odesza, Lord Huron, and Lana Del Rey! As for movies, I'm not terribly big on movies but enjoy comedies like Shaun of the Dead! I just recently got back into reading and love sci-fi and thriller/mystery novels.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I would like to think I'm in the middle of my amazing achievement! Every day has been an adventure since is stepped off on March 20th to come out west! Between hiking up the Pacific Crest to biking from the coast I've learned a lot about life and a lot about myself. There's been some struggles, triumphs and endless breathtaking views! I wouldn't trade this adventure for the world
Teach, Learn, Share
I am skilled in handy tasks around the house, with computers or in automotives; which I find to be useful to help people out. At the same time I'm helping them I like to teach people how to fix things so they can do it the next time around and become more handy themselves. I think learning is just as important as teaching and I'm always trying to learn from those who are experts in an area.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love people more than anything, I love talking to others and hearing about their life story, it really brings me joy how excited people get to share their experiences. So I can share a great conversation with the hosts but if that doesn't cut it, I can offer handy man services and I'm a pretty good cook who will clean up after myself!
