I am on a year long sabbatical from work and travelling as much as possible. I´m a teacher at home, enjoy it but it´s nice to have a break from it too! I've been throughout Central and South America so far and looking forward to visiting New Zealand and Australia soon. I'm new to couchsurfing but lots of friends have had great experiences with it so I must give it a try!

to meet interesting people and to have a bit of fun. I hope to show guests some of the interesting attractions and lesser known sights in Ireland also.

Música, películas y libros

I like a lot of music of all kinds really, from old Irish traditional and folk to modern rock and even a bit of hip hop. some favourite acts include the national, luke Kelly, bon iver, Damien rice, sigur ros, the frames, pink Floyd, bloc party etc.

Big movie fan too and I love to read. My favourite novelist is John Connolly

I suppose this entire year in general, leaving work and the real world behind and seeing as much of the world as I can (until I run out of money!!)
