Overview
About Me
I'm a typical University student studying mechanical engineering. But that's why I am trying to travel. I didn't want to live and die as a typical person who just goes to college, works, and then dies. I'm honestly scared, confused, and ignorant about travelling the world, but I hated the stability and mundaneness of my previous life style. I only get one life to live, so I want to experience as much as I can before I die; both the good and the bad. I know sometimes things may get very terrible. But I think those are worth it. If everything was perfect, accomplished, and sensible; there would be no reason or incentive to live. There would be no reason to define our own meaning and purpose to life. In a way, traveling for me has become a way to prove to myself that I am truly free from the lies I tell myself out of fear. I want to feel vulnerable to the world and embrace it. From there, hopefully I can live life on my terms, and for me, that is worth everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am trying to travel the world without the dependence and security I have always depended on. As a college student, I tend to lack much money when it comes to anything, but I want to experience the world and the people that inhabit it. Couch surfing is my solution!
