Name is James Knight, 19 years old, and I have a need for travel. I've been in boarding school since 8th grade, and so you can say I've enjoyed the idea of being independent and learning through my own conquests.

I am currently not fully verified, as I have only just started this activity, and as of this moment, I am on a very tight budget while in the US, so please forgive that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying out couch-surfing for 1 of 2 reasons.
The first reason is that I try to find the best and cost-effective way to travel, in terms of accommodation. The second reason, is that it I find it to be a very social way to travel, as it does involve a very social aspect, and I really enjoy meeting new people along my travels - hence why I prefer to travel alone.

Interests

I am a big music nut, so the chances of finding me camping at a music fest or a concert would be fairly high.
I am also a big lover of the outdoors (being South African), and so any place that provides for a great hike or camping grounds would be a massive pull factor for myself.
