This description is now a bit out of date, i am no longer on my fiest interrail trip (that ended in slovenia) but i hope the core of it still rings true:)

Hi. My Name is James. I'm Currently on my first ever Interrail Trip Travelling throuhg Europe. It's my first time being away from home and it's amazing but i do feel homesic too haha. I'm not quite sure where i'm going or what i want to see. but I love music and nature. and i'm extremely keen on cooking and very interested in trying real local cuisine. i also love to cook. I'm traveling with my guitar (and a portable amp) and am doing my best to find places to play as i travel. open mic nights. jam sessions, Gigs, as well as some busking when i can :). I try my best to be polite and kind to people i meet and just be nice to be around. i've still got a lot to learn but i'm enjoying the journey .

it would be great to meet people who could host me . (especially in countries that are a bit more expensive.) i'd love to make friends and people who can really show me around the places i'm in. the best places to eat. places i can play music. i'm alo happy relaxing and watching a movie or something too though haha

Elliott Smith, the beatles, bb king, eric gales, Davy graham all kinds of music! folk, Blues, Jazz, Rock, if it's good it's good :) i love lots of types of movies. sci fi, comedy, action, fantasy. some of my favourites are, Army of Darkness, From Dusk til dawn, Hoodwinked, Song of the sea, and the extraordinary adventures of Adele Blanc sec . all sorts of others too though.

my favourite tv show is probably Farscape. but i love plenty of others too. The Golden Girls. Black Books, Star trek, ash v the evil dead, and a load more i cant think of right now.
I'm currently reading, The dresden Files, Summer Knight, Crowfall, and The Three Body Problem

I managed to get a place at university (Waterbear the College of Music, in brighton) despite having left school before taking my GCSEs by going for an interview and applying via APEL (accreditation of prior experiential learning) and while i still have a lot of work to do in order to feel i really deserve i'm still quite proud of myself.
