About Me

Hello!
I am a Scot studying history in Scotland (Can't seem to get enough of the place!) at the University of Aberdeen but am originally from Glasgow. I am coming to Canada this summer to do some travelling and would love to make some friends along the way! This is my first time using couch surfing! I love to read as well as the outdoors including hiking, photography, cycling, swimming, am involved in football and gymnastics and play the violin. I am friendly and very easy going company always eager to meet new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a bit of everything and love sharing music. I am a film enthusiast, my favourite is always changing but have loved Lord of the Rings since I was wee. Jack London's 'White Fang' is definitely one of my favourite books alongside 'Walden' by Henry-David Thoreau.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach a photography course to some of Glasgow's homeless through Glasgow City Mission

Cycled 500 miles rounds Scotland

Walked from Glasgow to Loch Lomond and back barefoot (took 3 days!)

Teach, Learn, Share

While in Canada I'll be kilted up most of the time so there's that! Meeting new people is always a fantastic experience, learning about different cultures, swapping stories, making friends!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, music, games, company, if you need help around the property/house always happy to lend a hand!
