About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Im teaching at a university in Reims for a semester and want to get to know the city.
ABOUT ME
I am a fun and outgoing Australian who has been living and studying in Berlin for a year. Part of my work in Melbourne involves teaching or tutoring at universities but I also do a lot of projects around politics and art. I have performed shows at festivals, written magazines and often help friends out with collaborative projects. I am a vegetarian, I play a bit of guitar and sing as well. But this I must admit I do quite poorly. I am really easy going and relaxed and interested in meeting new people and exploring new ideas. I think that there is something interesting about everybody and their personal journey through life.
PHILOSOPHY
I've studied and taught philosophy for ten years so its hard to summarise in one box!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We had many couch surfers at our old share house and they have all been super fun and a great experience. I think its a really great system and gives you the opportunity to meet new fun people.
Interests
I am really interested in how we reflect upon and form a relationship with our own ways of living. I like to think about different people's lives, how they see the world, why things make sense to them in a particular way. I like to read and write but also see movies, have picnics go for runs and cycling trips. It really all depends on where I am and what's happening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have hiked through the plains of Mongolia, lived in Paris and St Petersburg, put on amazing conferences and events, performed a comedy show, taken part in a global revolution, and taught dozens of students to open their minds to new experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well I do teach at a uni so I know a lot about philosophy, politics, and aesthetics. And then progressively less about other topics like economics, sociology, cultural theory, random stuff about Australia and cooking.
