To get my MSC and start a PHD in Molecular BioPhysics

ABOUT ME

I am a gorgeously good looking funny genius studying for a MSC-PHD in Molecular Medicine and Molecular Biophysics respectively. This is the 2nd time I have had to write this, the last one (17 hours prieviously) has been mysteriously erased.
I am a practising Christian Jedi Knight ^^ as such part of my training includes Wu Chien Chuan ti ji quan, Shaolin kong fu including 72 styles, Arhan/Arhat yoga and 18 Lo Han chi gong.

PHILOSOPHY

Love is like the Sun, it shines on everything equally. It does not discriminate, it does not judge. So then be like the Sun do not live in the past, let go of the past. Live in this moment. Let love into your life. Feel the light and heat of love permeate your being, purge you of all inequities. See and feel the light and heat of this love becoming ever stronger, more radiant more powerful. See and feel the love become so bright now that all that you percieve is this brilliant warm peaceful, joyful, healing empowering, liberating love. Become one with this love now. See and feel yourself become love. Now that you are love you can be like love. Do not discriminate, love all equally, there is no greater or lesser love for that is not the nature of love to discriminate!Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and he will be able to feed himself, his family and all his friends for life! Do not ask anyone to do something that you are not prepared to do yourself. Treat others as you would like yourself to be treated. With great power comes greater responsibility. When faced with injustice, never back down, do not take no for an answer, be steadfast in your resolve in the pursuit for truth, justice and rightous vengeance ;) !!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well thus far I have not utilzed CS. I aim to travel the World during my PHD for a few weeks, hope to utilize CS to its full potential then. I am able to host small groups of people depending upon the time of year. I have a spare room where guest can sleep. No smoking is allowed in the house!

Interests

I like a diverse range of music stemming from the tribal rythms at the dawn of human civilization, through to the beats, singing,chanting and claps prominent in neo pagan cultures when humans first started to cultivate and harvest crops and breed herd cattle approximately 12,000 years ago, through to the music of the modern age in all of its diverse forms. I pray and meditate daily (part of the Jedi knight training you know). I also practise martial arts but not as a sport. They keep you very fit and healthy and present a constant challenge and goal to aim for. The focus from ti ji quan is an excellent way to change the structure of your brain and decrease reaction time to stimuli. This is due to the increased magnetic flux density generated through drawing in, cultivating, mixing and focusing chi (magnetic field). After just 30 minutes of practise the structure of your brain is permanently altered ;). I like to party and dance (although I am not a good dancer but I try :P) use to run, row, swim, cycle, Nordic walk, power walk, and boulder but I need to focus just on research for university so no time to train hard in other forms of exercise until sometime after the 2012 Olympics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Thus far I have not found a form of music that I do not like in some incarnation of it. Ergo I like a diverse range of music and really do appreciate music in all of its forms.
I like movies that are able to portray the story they tell so well that you stop analyzing how unrealistic it is. Wether it does this through themes, character development, sub-plots, special effects is irrelevent to me. So I do tend to have a preferance for sci-fi, comedy, drama, action and adventure, fantasy and romance roughly in that order.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have saved a mans life cool right ;). Trained kung fu in China, Muay Thai at WMC in Thailand. Climbed the great wall of China (Se mi ta). Climbed an active tropical volcano. The sight on the apex of Hong kong mount is amazing. You can clearly see a disctint differance on either side of the hill. One side is a built up metropolitian hub of activity, the otherside is lush green sub-tropical canopies, interdispersed with the deep blue of the islands reservoir and white sandy beeches laped by the turquoise waters of the South China seas :).
