About Me
My name is JJ my beautiful wife is Nicole we have been married since 2012 and are both from Utah, We met snowboarding at our favorite resort and have been together since 2010. We have no kids or pets yet, but love animals and children, I am full time student and Nicole is too we both have full time jobs and keep fairly busy. In the summers we are very active outside, both of us enjoy Utah very much.
If you're looking for hosts that can show you around and spend time with you we will do our best. Depending on the week we will let you know our schedule ahead of time. If you're looking for a place to crash and to get out and see Utah on your own we respect that too and ask that you just communicate with us so we know what your plans are.
We rarely sleep so coming back late or waking up early to get out and see things won't bother us at all. If it's a weekend Nicole likes to sleep in so you might have to be a little quiet:)
On Sunday's we go to church and are usually pretty lazy. We do love going on hikes or picnics on those days also. If you want to come to our church and see what it's like you're very welcome (shirt and tie is most common) it could be from 1-3 hours long depending on how long we would all want to stay. If you would rather do something else we understand and would love giving s recommendation on what to go see.
We can't wait to get out and start making new friends. One strong opinion we share is that if you stay with us here then we get to stay with you when we come to your state or country!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently just learned about this culture. As a couple we always try and give back to people who are in need and also we feel as if CS is a great cultural concept, the company of others and great friendships are truly what matter most. We live by an idea that if you can serve others you will be blessed in living a happy life.

We are both students we love to learn and grow as a couple, our interests are traveling, meeting new people, we love dogs, snowboarding, hiking, boating, rock climbing, eating good food, having good company, music and concerts, we love to shop, and we are seriously crazy about each other;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Since we have been married we try and take one large trip a year, we set aside school and work and try to really get out and experience the world together. In the second year of our marriage we were fortunate enough to backpack through all of Thailand and some of Cambodia. Now we are planning our trip to Europe!!
Teach, Learn, Share
We love to snowboard and would be very willing to go with or even teach, we love our state and love teaching people how to get the most of their experience here. Also rock climbing is something we both enjoy teaching others to do.
Learning about others is something that brings us so much joy, to think that we have so many friends who are from all over the world and that the differences we may have can bring us closer as people. Learning about the traditions and cultures in the places we have traveled too have been some of the happiest times in our lives. We hope to have more interactions like that through CS.
Share, we love to go out to eat and could give advice on almost any style of food and dishes we love! We are willing to share our place to people who read our profile and are willing to respect our hospitality. Please include the words read-it in all caps If you're wanting acceptance. If not good luck. If you're looking for a host we can share with you our time if we're not too busy , we can take you hiking and sight seeing because being outside is one of the greatest things our state has to offer. We love being outside and want you to enjoy those things too if you're into it. Or if you like nights at home we are always watching loves, playing games, and eating candy!
