About Me
Hello!
I'm an English guy currently living in France to try and organically learn the language. I live in Lyon and I absolutely love it there!
I've been in France for almost two years now and I don't intend to leave anytime soon (especially after Brexit!).
I'm an active and sporty person, I like to play football and tennis, and I played rugby for my University in the UK as well as at a semi-professional club in London (where I first started out).
I also thoroughly enjoy cooking, I wouldn't say I'm amazing, but I love cooking a range of dishes from curry's (like lentil curry, or Thai green curry), to traditional Jamaican dishes (like jerk chicken with rice and peas), to Italian classics (like lasagne). I also like sharing my food with other people and seeing how they react to it, and I'm always open to suggestions and requests!
My real passion outside of rugby though is acting! I love everything to do with theatre and theatre production, and I've also recently started to cultivate a passion for film and film making! I hope to one day break into a theatre somewhere, but that's a dream in the future for now!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I've heard good things about it from my friends who have used it, and unlike Airbnb or staying at a Hotel (or Hostel), the emphasis isn't on me travelling alone, it's much more focussed on meeting new people and experiencing new things with them, and I like that communal aspect!
I am also keen to host people, and have a wonderful space in a wonderful city that I would love to share with those who are in need of a place to stay and are keen to hang out!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am light-hearted, easy-going and adventure seeking person, I have a lot of experiences I ca share but I'm also great at listening and absorbing new things.
I can socialise with Hosts, or cook for them! We can talk sports to politics, music to charity, philosophy to social conventions; my point being that I am not afraid to engage with new people and learn about them and their lives as well as imparting parts of my own.
