ABOUT ME

Both myself and Ritchie have lived in London, England our whole lives, and if you have ever visited, you would know that there isn't much in terms of adventure. That is why we decided to take a year out of education, put our lives on our backs, and go on a trip around the world, all kicking off on February 2nd 2011.

Itinerary:

London - Bangkok - Sydney (overland to) Brisbane - Auckland (overland to) Christchurch - Nadi - Los Angeles - New York - London

We are really sociable and love to meet new people and share tales of our round the world trip. That is why we made this account. I understand that people are concerned with allowing strangers into their homes without verification or identification, but I have recently turned 18 and the truth is I don't have a credit or debit card so am unable to make the donation.

If you feel unsure about allowing me into your home and onto your couch, please just let me know what I can do to convince otherwise, maybe we can meet up for a coffee upon arrival in your country, then we'll see where things go from there :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being a new member of CS, I am keen to find out first hand what the project is all about. I will do this by couch surfing my way around the world. Then once I have returned back to the UK, I plan on opening up my coach, and returning the favour!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience surfing coaches with help of this website. However, when I was traveling around North America with my family a few years ago, our car broke down in the middle of no where. Not having enough money to pay the repairs of the vehicle, it looked like a long, scary night, sleeping on the side of the road was ahead of us. When out of no where, a kind young couple welcomed us into their home. Now whenever we are in the area, we make sure we swing by to say hello.
