II consider myself a thoughtful, compassionate human being and do all I can to be considerate and empathetic of others. I am social and love good conversation though I also know how to be alone and appreciate quieter moments too. I am an enthusiastic musician who is always keen to jam, I can hold my own on a drum kit, any other percussion or a sampler but am not strong melodically. I am malleable and find I can adapt to any environment or situation. I consider myself an lgbtq ally and dislike intolerance and discrimination.
Most of all though I love life and am enthusiastic about everything it has instore for me.

Far too much music and too many books for me to list. Currently I am reading a lot of Michel Houellebecq and am about to move on to either James Joyce or Franz Kafka but I can't decide. I am inclined to become completely immersed when I find a good book and not do anything else until I've finished it but I'm managing that while I travel. I am currently listening to a lot of house and minimal electronica but have just broken out of an obsession with funk and soul, I have a large collection of vinyl at home in NZ a lot of which is jazz, fusion, funk, hip hop, rnb and soul. My appreciation for music knows no bounds and I love anything authentic and expressive from any genre.

Changed the trajectory of my life and taken myself out of my comfort zone. I left home young and have been supporting and challenging myself ever since.
I'm proud to say I threw my television away when I was 17 and have never owned one since.
