About Me

I'm a fun loving, easy going, sociable teacher (I teach English language and literature) from the UK . I'd say I'm an easy guest to have because I'm very friendly, sociable, kind, considerate, fun, don't take myself too seriously, have a good sense of humour, interesting and interested (I'm a good listener) but I'm not over the top! I'm also clean, tidy and generous so happy to contribute in return for a person's hospitality. I am interested in people and places and that's why I love travelling and I'm always keen to learn new things and meet new people and share conversation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have done a lot of travelling on my own but have sometimes missed meeting people when I'm abroad. I hope that through Couchsurfing I'll meet new people and share experiences and conversation and find out more about the places I visit - the stuff that the guidebook might not tell you about!

Music, Movies, and Books

There is too much music to mention! I used to be a DJ so I have a lot of music. Anything from classical to dance music. Recent favourites: Four Tet, Nils Frahm, Wolf Alice, Lianne La Havas, Brian Eno, etc..etc..

I also like any film which has got a good story and the same with books: I'm an English teacher so it's part of my job to know certain books but I read all sorts: non-fiction, fantasy, psycho geography, novels, etc.. I love it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I suppose teaching is the most amazing thing I've done but also travelling to India was incredible when I was 21. I'd really like to do a proper adventure like a big trek or transatlantic voyage.
