I’m traveling across Europe by myself for the summer! I am brand new to Couch Surfing because this is my first time traveling on my own - that’s why I don’t have any references yet :) I just graduated from Cal Poly SLO University and I studied Business Information Systems and I minored in Sustainable Environments. I grew up near San Francisco, CA and I can speak a little Spanish. I’m organized and clean, and I’d love to help with chores around the house. Going on adventures and learning about history are two of my favorite things to do.

Four words that I want to be known by are: adventurous, compassionate, charismatic, and positive. Adventure embodies who I am - I don’t plan very far in advance because I thrive on flexibility and adaptability. Living a compassionate vegan lifestyle is very important to me and allows me to empathize with a variety of people that I meet. Being charismatic is important to me because I get happiness from making other people feel loved. Finally, my positive outlook on life helps me to see the best in every situation and person. I strive to live out these characteristics everyday and to promote them in others around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been taught that travelers help other travelers. I’m new to Couch Surfing and I hope to invite travelers into my future home now that I’m using this platform. Right now, I’m just looking to meet new friends and stay at neat spots around big cities in Europe! I really enjoy getting the inside scoop on how locals live.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Harry Potter, really. I also just bought a book in Amsterdam called Madness is Better Than Defeat and I’m really enjoying it so far! I love all types of music and I made sure to bring headphones with me this summer so that I can listen to Spotify :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been to 6 of the 7 continents and I have skydived from 11,000 feet! I’ve run in races anywhere from 800 meters to a marathon. I’ve gone on bike rides that were over 60 miles. I just really like being outside :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope to teach young individuals about environmental stewardship one day! I’m passionate about learning more about sustainability and I want to help societies across the world reduce their carbon footprint.
