I'll take off every few months on the train and hit a few cities across the country, most recently Chicago and St. Louis. Before it was out to San Fran, Austin, then to New Orleans. I like traveling on rail, on foot... planes are cramped and expensive, don't have a car of my own so I'll get around the old fashioned way.

Prefer that a great deal, just simpler if you've got everything resting on your shoulders.

Early riser to do technical direction for the local public radio station during our morning news magazine. When the day's work is done I'll dabble with art, music, writing and a little side project podcast centered on travel!
