Living and working in the daily grind of New York eventually drove me crazy. I was gradually becomming fed up living a life reminicent of an ant in an ant farm. Herding into trains to be carted off to work, making money in which you have little time to spend, or enjoy, it deprives us from our most basic human needs. I contemplated questions like 'If I died today, would i have any regrets?' and 'Am I living a meaningful life?', dozens of others circled my mind. Nevertheless I was discontent. One day, after a minor incident I decided to quit my job right on the spot and drive to California.
I've been traveling for 3 weeks now and have gone all over the country with rotating companions. I still have my apartment in New York and if we become friends you can go there anytime. I'm not sure how long I'll be on this trip, but I'm not tired yet. You can even hitch a ride with me somewhere if you want.
